When: October 21st - 23rd, 2011
Where: Hells Canyon NRA or Leslie Gulch BLM area
Cost: $25.00/particpant (to cover the cost of materials)
Description: Head into the beautiful canyons of western Idaho for a 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip to learn about Leave No Trace principles and ethics. This event is being coordinated by the Student Conservation Association's Boise office and will be taught by SCA employees. Participants will be asked to present one of the seven Leave No Trace principles to the group as part of the course. Each individual participant will be responsible for bringing their own food and camping gear. Upon completion of the course each participant will be a Leave No Trace Trainer and will receive a certificate from the Center.
