Agata and Jason Ketterick met one bluebird day on the slopes of Mt. Crested Butte three years ago. They have spent every day since enjoying the outdoors together and have gone on many adventures including a two thousand mile road trip through Poland, a hiking trip through southern Utah and Arizona, a honeymoon in Maine that included hiking Mt. Katahdin and over one hundred miles of biking along the Atlantic ocean, as well as rock climbing and backcountry skiing/snowboarding trips throughout the country. With their mutual commitment to a strong environmental ethic, their passion to share this commitment with others, and their extensive teaching experience, Agata and Jason are excited to begin their adventures as Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers.

Agata was born in Warsaw, Poland and after moving to the United States at the age of eight; her parents took her on her very first road trip to numerous national parks out west. That road trip planted the seeds of what would become an insatiable thirst for exploring wilderness areas and traveling in general. After Agata graduated from Vassar College with a degree in economics, she became involved in outdoor education. She spent several years leading trips and teaching throughout the country. Eventually, Agata moved to Vermont and earned a Masters degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Vermont. Agata is looking forward to developing her outdoor leadership skills by becoming Wilderness First Aid certified and becoming a Leave No Trace Master Educator.
